I’m over the moon that the prestigious New South Journal just nominated one of my flash fictions, ‘Down the Stairs in Somebody Else’s Dreams,’ for Best Small Fictions. The piece was published by them in January last year, and it’s very dear to me, since it explores the notions of bereavement I felt after my father’s death, and the impossibility to let go.
If you want to have a read, you can do so here.
Thank you so much to the lovely bunch of editors at the New South for selecting my piece and to my friend Stephanie Hutton for her wonderful editing suggestions.
