‘The Caesarean’ Nominated for Best Small Fictions

You can knock me down with a feather! The team from TSS Publishing decided to nominate my piece ‘The Caesarean,’ which won 2nd place in their Winter Flash Fiction Competition, for Best Small Fictions. You can read it here: https://www.theshortstory.co.uk/featured-flash-fiction-the-cesarean-by-sophie-van-llewyn/

I’m incredibly thrilled, especially since I’ve been nominated along my good friend, super-talented writer Christina Dalcher. You can have a read of her nominated piece here — it’s a showstopper: https://www.theshortstory.co.uk/flash-fiction-silent-sex-by-christina-dalcher/

Many, many thanks to the kind writers who gave me editing feedback before I sent it out, Kayla Pongrac and Siobhan Neile. Also, a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to Rupert Dastur and the rest of the TSS team for the nomination, and for their ongoing support of flash fiction and short story writers. You’re doing an amazing job!
